See this Broken Arrow kitchen transformation from floor plans to design renderings to project completion.
These detailed floor plans and renderings reflect the many hours of collaboration between us and the homeowner and all of the selections made throughout the design process. This gave the homeowner a very good idea of what the completed project would look like and confirmed that the renovation could be completed within their preferred budget.
When we designed this project, it was a priority for us to incorporate elements into the design that highlighted how the kitchen would look from the living room, as this kitchen is part of a Whole Home Remodel. All of the elements that frame the kitchen were discussed: from the placement of the beams in the kitchen in relation to the placement of the living room beams, to whether the large opening should be trimmed and then which type and color of wood to provide the most pleasing result, to the trim on the large expanse of hickory on the back of the island.
Our homeowner loves their rustic custom hickory kitchen cabinets. During the design process, the homeowner asked for smooth knots to ensure the cabinets would be easy to wipe down. So we hand filled and custom colored the knots that might possibly catch a thread from a dish towel. The homeowner was highly complementary with the results!

SPECIAL TOUCHES - You might look at this photo and say what is so special about a vent hood above the stove? It's very important to Design Tech that your finished project work for your lifestyle. The strength of your cooktop must be considered before choosing a vent hood. When the homeowner purchased a GE Profile stovetop and we discussed their cooking routines, we recommended an upgraded vent hood. We ensured that the upgraded model came with easy to clean grates instead of the basic, hard to clean, mesh filters that just make practical everyday cleanup more difficult.
DETAILS YOU CAN'T SEE - Not only did we install undercounter lights under the kitchen cabinets to add another layer of light, but we installed them on a motion sensor so when the homeowner walks into their kitchen the undercounter lights come on automatically.
If you appreciate this level of attention to the fine details - call us to talk about your next project! Can't wait to hear from you!
